What is Community Acupuncture?

Acupuncture for All Decatur offers a community-style setting for acupuncture treatments. Rather than the private treatment room, the space is shared with others receiving treatment.

For your acupuncture session, you will sit or recline comfortably in a spacious room with up to three additional patients. We suggest wearing loose-fitting comfortable clothing that allows the acupuncturist to place the treatment needles in the most therapeutic location.

Each client receives an acupuncture treatment designed for their specific needs. As part of each session, the acupuncturist will consult with you and determine the best approach to assist you with your desired healing.

We are sensitive to the economic realities individuals face and seek to develop innovative options to allow healing and wholeness for everyone. Our fee for one session (generally 45-50 minutes) is $35-$55 sliding scale. Please pay the amount that best suits your budget. Payment is by cash or check only in the office or you may purchase online (3% fee added).

Appointments may be scheduled online and Walk-ins are always welcome.

1. Upon arrival,

  • If you are a Walk-in, please take a numbered envelope.
  • If you have an appointment, please take the envelope labeled with your appointment time.

2. If this is your first visit, please complete the Patient Information Form found in the folders.

3. Relax in our waiting room. An acupuncturist will greet you when they are available.

4. Your Acupuncturist will consult with you concerning your specific treatment needs.

5. When the treatment is complete, place your payment in your envelope, complete the payment form within the envelope and insert all in the red payment box.

6. Hydrate well and be attentive to changes in your body.

7. If you are happy with your treatment, please tell your friends. If you are not pleased, please contact us so that we can discuss any concerns you may have.

Thank you for allowing us to work with you.
